Mission & Vision:

To promote Evidence Based Medicine in delivering health care in the Department of Medicine and at King Abdulaziz Hospital with a long term plan to distribute the evidence based health care insight in the region.

 

To ensure that the evidence based health care will be implemented.

 

Objectives:

 

1.      To increase awareness about EBM.

2.      To incorporate the concept of EBM in the process of health care decision making.

3.      To coordinate EBM scientific activities locally and participate in the EBM courses and conferences

4.      To teach EBM to all health care professionals.

5.      Supervise trainee in journal club, morning round and answering searchable questions in EBM format

6.       To supervise the trainees during their learning process of EBM
