Yes, you can.

2. Will NGHA help me find an acceptance?
Usually, NGHA provides its approved pre-scholar with a letter of financial guarantee and a letter of visa issuance facilitation. Also but on exceptional approval basis, a pre-scholar might be sponsored to do an elective rotation/interview abroad once during his/her pre-scholarship period. However, finding an acceptance is usually a two-party matter between the pre-scholar and the training institution oversea.

3. Which countries/universities are recognized by NGHA?
Generally, we adhere to the Ministry of Higher Educationlist of approved North American educational/training institution.

4. I have a clinically oriented acceptance from an accredited North American training institution but I cannot find the specialty I am seeking among the one advertised. Will you review my application?

5. I got an acceptance from a university in Canada but French Language Proficiency is required. Will NGHA sponsor me for intensive French Language course?
NGHA will sponsor you up to (6) months French language course.

6. Does NGHA have any official contacts, collaboration or partnerships with educational institutions abroad?
Officially, no!

7. Does NGHA sponsor its pre-scholars to undertake the USMLE or MCCEE?
NGHA sponsors its pre-scholars to undertake both the USMLE and the MCCEE. This sponsorship includes: (1) airline tickets, (2) Examination fees, (3) paid off days for each of Step I and Step II Part I, and (7) paid off days for both Step II Part II and Step II.

8. Does NGHA sponsor its pre-scholars to do Kaplan?
Unfortunately, no!

9. Does NGHA sponsor its pre-scholars to do elective rotations abroad?
In most cases, yes however, the elective rotation must not exceeds (3) months.

10. I am an Intern, what is the graduation date in my case?
The graduation date will be the MBBS/BSc issuance date. The system will not accept any future date so do not enter the anticipated date of your Internship end as your graduation date.

11. When I submitted my application, the system refused it. Why?
The System is programmed to reject all applications that do not meet the scholarship criteria; such as those related to GPA, age, degree…etc.

12. How can I follow up my application?
Once you completed the Application Form and submitted it, you will receive your Application Number via e-mail. Then, you can use the Application Number and that of your Saudi ID to log to your account from the main page of NGHA Scholarship Application System as demonstrated below:

    User name: (Application #)
    Password: Saudi ID in the format of (x-xxxx-xxxx-x)

13. I have completed the Application Form and received the confirmation e-mail, what’s next?
You must submit your full credentials, and send the required documents no late than two weeks after the end of the deadline indicated in the announcement. Incomplete or late packages will be automatically discarded resulting in the rejection of your application.

14. What are the required documents?
The required application package varies depending on several factors but generally you will be required to submit the following documents:
  • An updated CV
  • Degrees Certificates (i.e. MBBS, BDS, BSc, MSc, Diploma, High School)
  • Transcript (if any)
  • Internship Certificate/evidence (for medical student)
  • Three recent reference letters with names and e-mail address of the referral
  • Copy of the Saudi ID
  • Two personal Photo 6X4 (optional for females)

15. How can I send my papers?
You have the choice either to scan the documents and send them to the e-mail address indicated in the announcement, deliver them direct to one of our offices, or you can mail them to the following address (depending on the scholarship region):

Regardless of the delivery method, it is always better to contact the scholarship office after sending the documents to make sure that they were received by the assigned staff. If you are sending your papers via mail, you need to include a letter of intent indicating which specialty and region you are applying for. While if you are sending them scanned, you better send them as readable PDF documents and insure that there size is presentable.

16. I have been interviewed but how can I hear of the interview results?
You can check your Application Status (if it is accepted that means that you have passed the interview and have been accepted for the scholarship post. If it is rejected that means that you didn’t pass the interview and you was not accepted for the scholarship post.

17. My scholarship status is pending, what does it mean?
It means that your scholarship application has not been reviewed yet, or decided about.

18. I was accepted for the scholarship post, what’s next?
You will receive an offer letter from the Scholarship Office offering you a scholarship post in the requested specialty. After reading the offer carefully, you must accept it, sign it and return it back to the Scholarship Office; both scanned and sent via e-mail or hand delivered to the Office.
